A New York City Department of Sanitation worker who found an iPad in the bathroom of a cafe hid it in his pants and stole it. Michael Maldonado, 38, had been on duty in the East Village Friday morning when he knocked on the door of Cafe Cortadito and asked to use the bathroom. When the cafe owner realized the iPad was missing, she confronted Maldonado about it.
